These days Pitru Paksha fair is organized in Gaya Dham. Every day lakhs of pilgrims continue to come to Gaya to offer Pind Daan, Tarpan and homage to their ancestors. In this sequence, Acharya Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Baba Bageshwar Dham has come to Gaya Ji for two days to perform Pind Daan with two hundred followers. In the grand pandal built in the hotel premises, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Baba Bageshwar Dham Government will perform Pind Daan of his ancestors and narrate Bhagwat Katha to 200 special devotees. OBC Minister Hari Sahni and Environment Minister Dr. Prem Kumar had also arrived to seek blessings from Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. During this time he was telling the glory of Pitru Paksha to his devotees. Meanwhile, in front of all the devotees, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri asked the Environment Minister where is Motku Ram, come here. After that, the Environment Minister welcomed him by garlanding him with Makhana and took blessings. On wearing Makhana garland, he said that here in Bundelkhand, Makhana garland is worn after death. Addressing the devotees, he said that these 17 days of Pitru Paksha are for the ancestors. Whenever you get time, you must come to Gayaji to perform Pind Daan. If you disobeyed while alive and getting Tripindi Shraddha, Bhagwat Katha performed after death, then this is the main reason for Pitra Dosh in life.
