There was chaos in Doriganj police station of Chhapra when the police driver committed suicide by hanging himself in his room early in the morning. The government driver who committed suicide has been identified as Chandan Kumar, a resident of Dehri Indrapuri village of Rohtas district. At the same time, after the case of suicide came to light, various kinds of discussions are going on. However, Saran Superintendent of Police Dr. Kumar Ashish has said that the matter of love affair has been started and investigation will be started.
According to police sources, Chandan Kumar had been living on rent for about a year in a house built in Bolbam Medical Hall near Bhairopur Chowk of the local police station area. It is being told that he ended his life by committing suicide by locking his room on Saturday night. Police station in-charge Rahul Ranjan came to know about this incident in the morning when Chandan did not reach for duty in the morning. After that, the police officer called on the mobile of the driver Chandan, but the phone was not picked up. After this, the officer and police who reached the spot called from outside his closed room, but still no voice came from inside. After that, the officers informed Doriganj police station in-charge Rahul Ranjan about this. Police station in-charge Rahul Ranjan, who reached the spot as soon as he got the information, broke the door of the room. Then he saw that the driver Chandan Kumar was hanging from the hook in the ceiling with a noose around his neck made of his towel.
When Saran’s Superintendent of Police Dr. Kumar Ashish got the information, he came to Doriganj police station and conducted a thorough investigation and gave necessary instructions to the local police station in-charge for further action. The SP said that prima facie the case seems to be a love affair. But to investigate the matter seriously, a forensic team is being asked to investigate. The truth of the case can be known only after the investigation.
Police station in-charge Rahul Ranjan informed his senior officers about this incident. After that Sadar SDPO Raj Kishore Singh reached the spot with a team. After investigating the case, he said that the driver had committed suicide in his closed room. But further investigation is being done. The police have sent the driver’s body to Chapra Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
