The demand of the BPSC candidates is to cancel the examination, but the Commission is not agreeing to their demand, hence the movement is still going on. Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav, Pappu Yadav and now Jan Suraj’s founder Prashant Kishore have stood in his support. While assuring the BPSC candidates, Prashant Kishore said that I am ready to come with you tomorrow i.e. on 27th December. No one will beat you with sticks, if anyone beats you then the government will fall.

Prashant Kishor, leader of Jan Suraj, reached the protest site at Gardnibagh late on Thursday evening and met the candidates sitting on protest demanding cancellation of BPSC examination. During this, he announced that he will march with the students tomorrow at 1 pm, in which he will be at the forefront. He assured the students that now no one will lathi charge them and if this happens then the government will fall. If the police lathicharges the students again, they will be the first to be lathicharged. He said that no one will beat you with sticks, if anyone hits you with sticks then the government will fall.

Patna Police attacked the candidates who came near BPSC office demanding cancellation of 70th Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination. Many male and female candidates became victims of this lathi charge. After that lathi charge, Rashtriya Janata Dal national president Lalu Prasad Yadav said that he should not have done this, it is wrong. He said that we urge all opposition MPs and MLAs to join this protest. Purnia MP has also called for a bandh in Bihar on January 1 while supporting the BPSC candidates.
