Four people died after being hit by an unknown vehicle in Lakhisarai. The condition of one is serious, seeing his serious condition the doctors referred him to Patna for better treatment after first aid. The incident took place in Haivatganj NH-80 of Mednichowki police station area. Regarding the incident, the local people say that two bike riders had gone from Bakarchak village to Rishi Paharpur village as a wedding procession. While returning in the early morning, an unknown vehicle hit both the bikes hard, due to which four people died on the spot. Death occurred. One person was seriously injured. The deceased were identified as Puggi Yadav (22), son of Khushi Lal Yadav, resident of Nav Tolia Sadhu Baba Sthan of Lakhisarai, Lakshmi Mahato (45), son of Ashiq Mahato, Manish Kumar (22), son of Sahendra Mahato, resident of Bhawanipur and Ajay Sharma, resident of Mirzapur in Munger district. Kunal Kumar (16), son of. Suraj Kumar (20), son of Ajay Kumar, resident of Manikpur, has been seriously injured in the accident, who has been referred to Patna. Both Manish and Kunal were friends of the groom.
Among those killed were the bride’s uncle and the groom’s friend.
Family members say that everyone was returning from the wedding procession. During that time a horrific accident happened. After the incident, there is mourning silence in the entire family. The dead include two groomsmen and two people from the bride’s side, including the bride’s uncle who performed the Kanyadaan and two of the groom’s friends. According to family members, bride Radha Kumari’s uncle Lakshmi Mahato was going to a nearby village to buy some wedding items. Along with this, the three people who had come in the wedding procession were also going back to their village after attending the wedding. During this time this incident happened. Deceased Lakshmi Mahato had performed Kanyadaan of the bride Radha Kumari.

As soon as information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot. SP Pankaj Kumar said that post mortem of all the dead bodies is being conducted after the incident. The vehicle is being identified through CCTV cameras.
