A speeding pickup van crushed two innocent sisters in Begusarai. The accident was so horrific that both of them died on the spot. There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Here, angry people blocked NH 31 and started creating ruckus. People created a ruckus against the police administration. After the incident, NH 31 was blocked for almost 2 hours. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and pacified the people. NH remained jammed for about two hours. The incident took place near Lakhon of Lakhon police station area.

The police have sent the bodies of both the children for post-mortem. Police is taking further action in the case. Both the innocent girls have been identified as Ruhi and Ruchi Kumari, daughter of Manish Kumar, resident of Lakhon area. People have told that both the innocent girls were crossing the road. Then a speeding pickup van crushed both of them. Both the innocent children died tragically on the spot.
Police engaged in investigation of the case
Sadar DSP Subodh Kumar has said that two innocent girls died in a road accident. People angry over the incident had blocked NH 31. He has told that somehow the matter was calmed down by convincing people. And the police have taken the bodies of both the innocent girls in their custody and sent them to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and are busy in further action. At present the police is busy investigating the entire matter.
