A drunken teacher trampled three children in the Brahmin group of Khadka Telwa Panchayat of Navahatta block of the district. The condition of one of them is serious. As soon as information about the incident was received, Navhatta police station reached the spot and seized the car. The drunk teacher and another person traveling in that car were arrested. All the injured were sent to Navhatta Health Center for treatment. After the incident, angry people beat the drunk teacher severely. According to the information, Ranjit Kumar Singh, teacher of Ramnagar Bharna Middle School, eastern part of Navhatta block area, in an intoxicated state along with one of his colleagues, crushed three children who were returning after having dinner in the Brahmin group of Khadka Telwa Panchayat in their car. In which 15 year old Utsav Kumar Raj father Uday Narayan Verma, five year old Umang Kumar father Pawan Kumar Verma, 20 year old Kuber Kashyap father Mrityunjay Prasad Verma were badly injured. The two injured are undergoing treatment at the local community health centre. The condition of one child remains very serious. Who has been referred to Sadar Hospital for better treatment. According to the information received, Ramnagar Bharna Vidyalaya teacher Ranjit Kumar Singh was going towards Khadka Telwa in his car via Block Road in an intoxicated state. Which hit people returning after having a feast in an over-speeding car near the Brahmin group. The local people handed over the drunk teacher in the car to the police. In this regard, Navhatta police station incharge Gyan Ranjan Kumar said that as soon as the information about the matter was received, the police reached the spot and seized the car. Two including the teacher have been arrested. Both are drunk. The condition of the injured is also out of danger. Further action is being taken.
