Six IAS officers have been promoted on the first day of the new year. The General Administration Department has issued its notification. Those IAS officers include Jitendra Srivastava, Amit Kumar, Rajesh Meena, Saket Kumar, Raman Kumar and IAS officer Ramachandrudu.

Jitendra Srivastava, a 2000 batch IAS officer, has been made the Principal Secretary. He was currently posted as Joint Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Government of India. 2012 batch IAS officer Amit Kumar has been promoted to the post of Special Secretary. Presently he was posted as Secretary to Sarbananda Sonowal Chini, Union Minister of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India. Rajesh Meena, a 2012 batch IAS officer, has been promoted to special secretary. Presently he was posted as Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary level) in Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. 2009 batch IAS officer Saket Kumar has been made secretary. Presently he was the Private Secretary to Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the Home Ministry. 2009 batch IPS officer Raman Kumar has been promoted. Presently he was the Private Secretary to Giriraj Singh, Union Minister of Textiles, Government of India. Ramachandrudu, a 2009 batch IAS officer, has been promoted. Presently he was posted as Director in Census Work and Civil Essay of Government of India.
