Police have seized a large consignment of salt in Hajipur. Police has seized a huge consignment of fake salt that had reached Bihar from Gujarat. Many traders of fake salt have been arrested.
Actually, the police got the news that a game is going on to smuggle a huge consignment of salt in fake wrappers of a branded company to Bihar. When the police investigated at the big rack point inn of the railway, the salt was found to be fake and packed in a branded company’s wrapper. It was revealed that the consignment of salt was packed in wrappers bearing the brand name of a renowned company and was sent to Bihar.
The company officials informed the police, after which the police investigated the salt loaded in the trucks and found out that the entire consignment of salt was fake. Police seized six trucks loaded with salt from the spot and brought them to the police station. An FIR has been registered under the Copyright Act on the statement of company officials. Along with the seized truck, the police have also arrested eight businessmen.
People from Tata Salt had come and came to know about the fake salt. In the same context, six trucks of salt have been seized in Sarai police station and FIR has been registered under Copy ACT. We are doing research and action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
