Bihar News: A 27-year-old youth died under suspicious circumstances in Khandakpar locality of Bihar Sharif. The deceased has been identified as Pintu Kumar, a resident of Nijaybigha village of Rahui police station area.

Pintu Kumar’s father Kishori Yadav has alleged that his son was murdered for money. He told that Pintu worked in a saree factory in Surat and had come to his in-laws’ house 25 days ago. The daughter-in-law and Samdhi were demanding money from the son. Despite giving the money, he was beaten up. When the family members reached the spot after getting information about the incident, they found Pintu dead in a room. There were injury marks on his body, plaster was applied on his left hand and right leg. However, the police say that it appears to be a case of suicide.

Bihar SHO Ramashankar Singh said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the youth committed suicide by hanging himself from the bed. However, the allegations of the family are being thoroughly investigated. The body has been handed over to the family after conducting the post-mortem. The real cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem report comes. Meanwhile, Pintu’s wife and other members of the in-laws have absconded since the incident. Pintu’s father says that after killing his son, an attempt has been made to make it look like a suicide.
Pintu had a second marriage
This was Pintu’s second marriage. His first wife died due to illness six years ago, after which he married his sister-in-law. He has one son from each of the two marriages.
