Customs department officials took action and arrested a Thai woman. Eight and a half kilograms of ganja and one kilogram of charas have been seized from him. Customs is interrogating the accused woman by taking her into custody. This arrest has been made from Gaya. After this the customs officials arrested him and brought him to Patna. According to the police, the Thai woman had reached Gaya with drugs by flight number TG 327 from Bangkok.

In this regard, Custom Commissioner Harshovardhan Pathak said that when the female passenger reached Gaya Airport, she was searched on suspicion. During the search, the customs officials were surprised to see such a large quantity of drugs. Custom Commissioner Harshovardhan Pathak said that ganja hidden in a sealed plastic pouch inside the trolley bag of the female passenger has been recovered. Harshovardhan Pathak said that eight and a half kilograms of ganja and one kilogram of hashish have been recovered from the female passenger.
Ganja worth Rs 8 crore 80 lakh was found ten days ago also.
Even 10 days ago, ganja worth Rs 8 crore 80 lakh was recovered from Gaya Airport. In this case, Customs had also arrested smuggler Sachin Narayani, resident of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The consignment of drugs seized 10 days ago was also being brought from Thailand. Sachin was also arrested by Customs.
