The Bihar government has once again transferred 9 IPS officers. Among those officers, eight are ADG and one is IG rank officer. Among those transferred, S Ravindran of 1995 batch has been made Additional Director General of Police of Bihar State Sports Authority Department. He will also hold the additional charge of Director General of Bihar State Sports Academy Rajgir.
Pankaj Kumar Darar of 1995 batch has been appointed Additional Director General of Police of Anti-Terrorism Squad. He will also hold the additional charge of Additional Director General of Police of Special Surveillance Unit.
Amit Kumar Jain of 1996 batch has been given the responsibility of Additional Director General of Police, Crime Investigation Department (Weaker Sections).
Sudhanshu Kumar of 1996 batch has been given the additional charge of Additional Director General of Police cum Additional Commissioner of Chemical Safety.
Sunil Kumar of 1996 batch has been made Additional Director General of Police of Special Branch. He will hold additional charge of the post of Additional Director General of Police of Economic Officiating. Kamal Kishore Singh of 1996 batch has been made Additional Director General of Police of Budget/Appeal/Welfare Department.
Parasnath of 1996 batch has been made Additional Director General of Police of Crime Investigation Department.
M R Nayak of 1998 batch has been made Additional Director General of Police of Bihar Special Armed Police.
Kim, a 2008 batch IPS officer, has been made Deputy Inspector General of Police of CID.
