Truck stuck in Kamala river

A truck broke the railing of the bridge on Darbhanga-Kusheshwarsthan SH 75 near Pipra Hati of Biraul police station area of Darbhanga, Bihar and fell into the Kamla river. However, with the help of local people, the driver and the helper were taken out of the truck and admitted to the local hospital.
According to the information, the truck coming from Arrah district was going towards Kusheshwarsthan carrying iron rods. During this, the truck driver lost control and the vehicle fell into the river. The incident occurred at around 3 o’clock in the morning. The driver and the helper narrowly escaped in this accident. The driver and the passenger suffered minor injuries.
Meanwhile, injured truck driver Santosh Kumar said that there was no big board installed near the bridge. Information was not given that going on diversion is prohibited. By the time the local people told me that vehicles are not allowed on this bridge, I had already taken the truck down. From where it was not possible to go back up again. Meanwhile, while trying to take out the truck, the truck fell into the river. The driver said that the owner has been informed about the incident.
Along with this, the engineer of the construction company present at the spot told that a board has been installed here. Even before leaving, it was forbidden that the movement of heavy vehicles is prohibited from this bridge. But the driver of this truck ignored the people’s advice and the truck overturned in the river.
