Bihar News: Two people died on Wednesday evening due to lightning in Chandi and Nagarnausa police station areas of Nalanda. While, another youth got burnt. After the accident, there is a lot of screaming among the family members.

Two people died due to lightning in Nalanda. After the incident, the family members started crying in both the villages. On the information of the villagers, the police took the bodies in their custody and sent them to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
The first incident took place in Pranchak village of Chandi police station area. 48-year-old Brijan Jamadar was working in the field. During this time, he died after being struck by lightning. Similarly, a teenager bathing in the rain in Moniumpur village of Nagarnausa police station area died due to lightning. The deceased Arun Kumar had a 12-year-old son Indrajit Kumar. Family members said that the teenager was bathing in the rain near the house. During this time the accident happened. Whereas, in Ghosrawan village of Pawapuri police station area, Ajay Singh’s 30-year-old son Guddu Singh got burnt after being struck by lightning. He was sent to Pawapuri Medical College for treatment. After treatment, the condition of the youth is said to be out of danger. Chandi police station in-charge Suman Kumar and Nagarnausa police station in-charge Shailesh Kumar Jha said that the police have started further action by registering a UD case.
