In Purnia, two people including a brother who was going to distribute a wedding card of his sister died in a road accident, while three people were injured. The incident took place near Kanharia Ketare in Dagarua police station area. The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Adil and Mohammed Ashraf, sons of Mo Shahid, a resident of Kanharia. The injured include Mohammed Afsar and Mohammed Zeeshan and another.

Regarding the incident, the deceased youth’s cousin Rifat Praveen said that Mohammed Adil’s sister is getting married. He was going with his friends to distribute wedding cards. Meanwhile, a speeding Scorpio collided with two different vehicles near Kanharia Ketare. The collision was so severe that Mohammed Adil and Mohammed Ashraf died on the spot, while three people including Mohammed Afsar and Mohammed Zeeshan were seriously injured. With the help of local people, everyone was immediately admitted to Purnia Medical College cum Sadar Hospital for treatment, where the condition of all three youths remains very serious.
Police in action
As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police of Dagrua police station reached the spot and sent the body to the hospital for postmortem. The police of Dagrua police station says that two youths riding a bike died on the spot after being hit by a Scorpio near Kanharia Ketare, while three youths were injured. They are being treated at Purnia GMC. The police has also seized the damaged vehicle.
