In the Mufassil police station area of Gaya city, the police have arrested two criminals who attacked a police personnel of Dial 112 on bike patrolling on Sunday night and looted his weapon and bike. In this regard, Gaya’s Senior SP Ashish Bharti said that at night the Mufassil police station and the Sub-Divisional Police Officer Wazirganj received information that some criminals had attacked the Dial 112 motorcycle team under the Gere Over Bridge.
Police recovered the bike
As soon as the information was received, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaya took this matter very seriously. And, immediately Additional Superintendent of Police, Gaya, police officers and personnel of technical branch and other policemen were sent to the spot. After inspecting the spot and finding out the direction of escape of the criminals, their chase was started. The snatched motorcycle was recovered immediately. CCTV footage around the spot has been observed.
Police arrested two accused
The criminals in this case have been identified. On the basis of investigation, CCTV footage and interrogation, two criminals have been arrested. They are being interrogated. On this, under the leadership of Superintendent of Police, Gaya and Sub-Divisional Police Officer Wazirganj, raids are being conducted continuously to arrest other criminals involved in this case. Other criminals involved in this case will be arrested soon. In this regard, a case has been registered by the Mufassil police station and further action is being taken.
