Two people died after being hit by Jan Shatabdi Express train in Jehanabad. Three people were crossing the railway track, while three laborers were hit by the Janshatabdi train while crossing the railway track. Two of them died on the spot, while one was seriously injured. The injured was immediately admitted to Sadar Hospital. There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police and railway teams reached the spot and started investigation.
Coming to the district headquarters by train in search of work
It is being told that all the laborers living in different villages of Makhdumpur police station area were coming to the district headquarters by train in search of work. After getting down from the train, everyone was crossing the railway tracks when due to dense fog they were hit by the Jan Shatabdi train coming from the other direction. Eyewitness told that all the people were coming together from Makhdumpur station in search of work, all the people were crossing the tracks instead of over bridge when this accident happened. Here, the police say that the bodies of both the laborers have been sent for post-mortem. Help from other police stations is being taken to identify them. Further action is being taken in the matter.
