On Friday, a high speed Innova car and a Scorpio car collided fiercely at JP Path Kangan Ghat of Chowk police station of Patna. The collision was so severe that the front parts of both the vehicles were shattered. Meanwhile, a constable returning home from his duty on a motorcycle got hit by it and was badly injured. On receiving the information of the incident, the Chowk police station reached the spot. Then all the injured were admitted to Nalanda Medical College Hospital for treatment, where the condition of two remains critical.
It is being told that after the incident, there was chaos at the spot for hours. Traffic police station and Chowk police station reached the spot and started investigating the whole case. Meanwhile, the driver of the Innova car left the car and fled from the spot.
Chowk police station in-charge Shashi Kumar Rana said that a police constable Sanjeev Kumar was returning to his residence after duty from the court. During this time, he became a victim of a collision between two vehicles. According to the information, on Friday evening, a Scorpio and an Innova car coming at high speed collided at Marine Drive Kangan Ghat. A police constable was returning home after duty from the court on a motorcycle. He too became a victim of the accident between the collision of two vehicles.
