UP Police from Purnia district has arrested the accused who threatened to blow up the Maha Kumbh Mela to be held in Prayagraj. The arrested youth has been identified as Ayush Kumar Jaiswal, who had given this threat on social media in the name of Nasir Pathan. UP Police, with the help of Bhawanipur Police of Purnia district, has arrested Ayush Kumar Jaiswal from Shaheedganj of Bhawanipur. A case was registered against the arrested Ayush Kumar Jaiswal in Prayagraj, UP and the police was engaged for his arrest. The arrested Ayush Kumar Jaiswal is the son of Jai Kishore Jaiswal, resident of Ward 4 under Shaheedganj Panchayat of Bhawanipur.

Case was registered in Prayagraj
UP Police officer says that on December 31, a threat was made on social media under the name Nasir Pathan to blow up the fair by blasting a bomb in the Mahakumbh Mela. After this, Prayagraj Police registered a case under different sections against the threatening young man and started investigation at various levels regarding the ID and the person using the ID. The officers of the police team that came from Prayagraj, with the help of Bhawanipur Police, conducted a raid in Shaheedganj on Saturday and arrested the accused and took him with them to Uttar Pradesh. In this regard, Purnia SP Karthikeya Kumar said that UP Police has arrested Ayush Jaiswal for threatening to blow up the fair by blasting a bomb in the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. UP Police had registered a case against him for making a fake ID and threatening to blow up the Kumbh Mela. Investigation is being done to get more information regarding the arrested Ayush Kumar Jaiswal.
