The body of a youth missing from Sheikhpura of Ramakrishna Nagar police station area of Patna has been found in a water filled pit after a week. Family members say that the young man had gone out to visit Lanka Dahan on the occasion of Durga Puja and was missing since then. The family members had informed this to Ramakrishna Nagar police station. The family members allege that even after receiving the information, the police of Ramakrishna Nagar police station were very careless in finding the youth. He says that if the police had been active, the young man would not have been murdered. Angered by the incident, people blocked Patna bypass accusing the police of negligence. People demonstrated vigorously demanding arrest of the criminals as soon as possible.

Family members say that Nitish Kumar (21), who had gone to visit Lanka Dahan on the occasion of Dussehra Puja, suddenly went missing. The family members had informed the Ramakrishna Nagar police station about the youth’s disappearance. On Thursday, police recovered the body of a youth from a water filled pit in Shekhpura. The news of the dead body of the youth created an atmosphere of sensation in the entire area. Angry people came out on the streets. Meanwhile, as soon as information about road blockage was received, police from several police stations were called to the spot. The police made a lot of efforts to pacify the people. Angry people were demanding arrest of the criminals as soon as possible. Due to this, the police had to face the anger of the people. Later, the police calmed down the matter by convincing the people. After the incident, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot for a long time. Due to road jam, long queues of vehicles formed on both sides. Regarding this matter, DSP Shri Satya Kam said that the police is investigating the matter. Action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in this case.
