Criminals shot a shopkeeper and his niece in Bela village of Sitamarhi district, adjacent to the India-Nepal border. The niece died in this. The shopkeeper is in critical condition. The incident took place at Shrirampur Chowk in Bela police station area. The criminals had come to commit the crime on Thursday midnight. A young man and an 8-year-old girl were shot in the incident. Both were admitted to a private nursing home in Sitamarhi for treatment. However, the girl died during this time. The young man is undergoing treatment in critical condition. Panic has spread in the area since the firing incident.
The shooter is his nephew
The injured in the incident has been identified as Santosh Sah, resident of Shrirampur Chowk. The deceased woman has been identified as Sakshi Kumari, 8-year-old niece of the injured. Police, who arrived on the information of the incident, are investigating the matter. The body of the deceased has been sent to Sitamarhi Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. There is an uproar among the relatives of the deceased. It is being told that the youth who shot Deepak Kumar seems to be the nephew of the injured. He deals in drugs and alcohol in the village.
