A young man died in a horrific road accident in Sitamarhi. He was returning home after meeting his friend. Meanwhile, a speeding dumper crushed him. The accident was so severe that he died on the spot. The family was celebrating Holi, meanwhile happiness turned into mourning after hearing the news of their son’s death. The incident took place near Manpaur and Gorhari villages of Bela police station area. After the incident, the dumper driver fled from the spot with his vehicle. The deceased has been identified as Sajan Paswan, 23-year-old son of Lalu Paswan, resident of Sursand in Sursand police station area of the district.
Saajan was returning home after meeting a friend.
Family members say that after playing Holi with his friend, Sajan was returning to his home in Surasand via Bela’s Gorhari. Meanwhile, the uncontrolled dumper driver ran away, trampling the bike-riding deceased from behind. However, during this time the people nearby also tried to chase the dumper and catch it. However, nothing happened to the driver or the vehicle. It was told that he died at the accident site itself. After which nearby people reached the spot and informed the police about the incident.
Police engaged in investigation after the incident
Here, as soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Regarding the identification of the dead body, information was given to the family members of the deceased through other means including mobile. After the information, the family members reached the spot and the police took the body into custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. There has been chaos among the family members after the incident. At the same time, during the festive season of Holi, there is an atmosphere of mourning in the house. The family members are in bad condition, crying. At present the police is investigating the matter. Tried to talk to Police Station Head Ramashankar Singh in this regard, although his mobile was not receiving any response.
