A young man was stabbed to death in front of SP Kothi located in Hajiapur of Nagar police station area of Gopalganj. The miscreants committed the crime in front of the SP Kothi and the police remained helpless. People angry with the incident blocked the NH. The incident took place near SP Kothi located in Hajiapur of Nagar police station area. The police arrived after the incident and sent the body for postmortem. After the postmortem, the relatives of the deceased and the local people blocked the road by placing the body on the road. They demanded the arrest of the criminals. The deceased has been identified as Saavan Kumar (20 years), son of Brijesh Sahni, resident of Hajiapur Kaithwalia Ward-8.
Miscreants attacked the youth with a knife
It is said that the deceased used to work at the mobile and general store of his aunt’s son Rajesh Kumar Soni located near Purani Chowk of Sawan Nagar police station area. Late on Sunday night, his aunt’s son left him at Hajiyapur turn so that he could go to his home. Meanwhile, at a distance of just a hundred meters from SP Kothi, the miscreants attacked the youth with a knife. The miscreants stabbed the youth’s neck and head several times with a knife. They kept attacking the youth until the youth fell on the road and got covered in blood. When passersby saw the youth in a bloody state on the roadside, they informed Dial 112. After receiving the information, the Dial 112 team reached the spot and immediately picked up the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
