In Purnia, a dispute arose while a child was playing and a fierce fight broke out between the two parties. A young man died in the fight. In this incident, 10 including two women were injured from both the sides. The condition of four of them has become very serious. On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and took the body into custody. The matter is being investigated. The incident took place late Saturday evening near Belauri Satdobh poultry farm of Mufassil police station area. The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Sahni (40 years), resident of Bainipur Navtolia of Darbhanga district. The injured include the deceased’s father Fulchan Sahni (60 years), mother Phulia Devi, two brothers Mithun Sahni and Kranti Sahni. The other side includes Satdobh residents Subodh Singh, Vijay Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Manjay Kumar and Rekha Devi.
Started beating family members like animals
In relation to the incident, injured Mithun Sahni told that for the last 40 years, he comes to Purnia from Darbhanga for six months and works to break Makhana. On Saturday evening, two brothers and sisters were playing in the backyard. While playing, the corn kiln went to the tin house of the neighbor resident of Purnia. The neighbor got angry after the corn kernels went into the tin a couple of times and came out of the house and started throwing bricks and stones at the house. When all the family members entered the house, dozens of neighbors came with sharp weapons and started beating all the family members like animals. In the fight, 10 people including Dinesh Sahni and about two women from both sides were injured. With the help of local people, everyone was admitted to Purnia GMCH for treatment. Where Mithun Sahni died during treatment. Seeing the serious condition of Fulchan Sahni and Kranti Sahni, the doctors of Purnia GMCH referred them to the higher center during treatment. All the remaining injured are being treated at Purnia GMCH.
About a dozen people were injured
Meanwhile, in-charge of Mufassil police station, Abhishek Kumar said that there was a fight between two parties over a dispute over a child. A young man has died in the fight. About a dozen people were injured. The post-mortem process was started after taking possession of the young man’s body. Further action will be taken on the application of the family members.
