An auto driver was murdered in Muzaffarpur late on Monday night. The incident took place in Katholia village of Rajepur police station area of the district. The incident created a sensation in the entire area. The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Sandeep Kumar. The family members have accused Sandeep’s friends of murder. It is alleged that Sandeep’s friends beat him to death and then abscond. Here, there was a stir in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Family members say that a few hours before the incident, Sandeep was beaten up by his friends living in the neighbourhood. He came home with an auto on Monday evening. Like everyday, he slept at the door of the house after eating food. Two-three people were present there when the fight took place. By the time we visited the accused had fled. Sandeep has died due to excessive bleeding. The family members are demanding the arrest of the killer.
