The deceased has been identified as Amod Kumar, 30, son of Gannaur Rai, resident of Jahangirpur Panchayat of Rustampur police station area. The criminals shot Amod in the face and chest. On Sunday morning, some villagers had gone to see the crops in the fields and were stunned to see Amod’s dead body in Mirzapur Dhab. There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. It is being told that Amod Kumar was going to get married on March 7, 2024.

On Saturday morning, he took the laborer to Patna for work in an auto. When he did not reach home till late at night, we started searching for him here and there. When I got the news of his murder today, I was shocked. Villagers say that Amod has eight brothers. In this, four brothers are married. Deceased Amod Kumar was going to get married on March 7, 2024. Meanwhile, Raghopur Police Station Officer Pankaj Kumar said that no application has been submitted to the police station by the family members of those who died.
