The injured have been identified as Tajpur resident Vipul Jha, his wife Sunaina Devi and neighbor Purushottam Choudhary and others. Victim Vipul Jha told that in the morning his wife came out of the house by opening the door to give fodder to the cattle. At the same time, the jackal, already in ambush, attacked Sunaina Devi and started scratching her badly.
Hearing the voice of Sunaina Devi, when Vipul Jha came out to save her, the jackal attacked him badly, due to which he was seriously injured. Later, when other people started gathering, the jackal ran away and attacked Purushottam Choudhary, his wife and other people in a nearby house, injuring them badly.
At present, the local people have demanded from the forest department to catch the jackal and kill it, so that the common people can remain safe. At the same time, common people say that local people are troubled every day due to jackals and monkeys and crops are also damaged by animals. Even after giving information to the Forest Department, no action has been taken till now, due to which there is anger among the people.
