The second foundation day program of Maa Blood Center was organized at the blood center premises located in Dariapur, Patna. On this occasion, the Rakta Veers, Rakta Varanganas who have continuously donated blood in the last two years as well as those who have made an integral contribution in the operation of the Blood Centre, were honoured. Maa Vaishno Devi Seva Samiti family informed that in these two years, a total of 10,598 units of blood were obtained by the blood center with the help of 7959 blood donors. This blood was supplied to a total of 7,376 beneficiaries. He said that it would not have been possible to do this without the cooperation of the state government in this campaign of service to humanity.

Drug Controller Uday Shankar said that after seeing the arrangements of Maa Blood Centre, I am overwhelmed and will ensure that other blood centers are also well organized. Building Construction Department Secretary Kumar Ravi said that blood donation is a unique step in the service of humanity and I wholeheartedly appreciate this work.
There is a positive change in people’s thinking towards blood donation.
Secretary, Agriculture and Transport Department, Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal said in his address that as District Officer, Patna, I closely observed the shortage of blood and the problems caused by it on many occasions and worked tirelessly to motivate people to donate blood. I am happy that there is a positive change in people’s thinking towards blood donation.
I have been associated with the work since before its inception
Deepak Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperative Department, who was presiding over the program, said that I have been associated with the work of Maa Blood Center since before its establishment. I have been less a guide and more a participant in this initiative. I have full hope that his series of service to humanity will continue.
