Shortly before the constable recruitment exam in Gopalganj, on the information of a candidate, the police arrested four people including the child protection officer (CPO). Candidates’ certificates, admit cards and many other documents were found with the arrested people. These four are accused of colluding with the candidates of the constable recruitment exam to solve the question paper.
This action has been taken by the police team under the leadership of Sadar SDM Dr. Pradeep Kumar and SDPO Pranjal. Those arrested by the police include Gopalganj CPO Surendra Paswan, resident of Khapura in Nagarnausa police station area of Nalanda district, Ranjit Kumar Singh, resident of Hardiya in Thawe police station area and SBO of the electricity company Arar office, Abhishek Kumar, a resident of Dumaria village in Mohammadpur police station area, a coaching center teacher, and Deepak Kumar, resident of Vishunpura in Sidhwalia police station area.
It is being told that before the examination, information was received that some members of the solver gang were roaming around the centre. On the complaint of a candidate, a police team was formed and raids were conducted at half a dozen places including Arar, Fathan, Thana Road of Nagar police station area. During this, Ranjeet Singh and Abhishek Kumar were arrested first. After interrogating them, CPO Surendra Paswan involved in the case was also arrested. During interrogation, the police have seized certificates of seven-eight candidates from them. At the same time, admit cards of many candidates have also been recovered.
In this case, Gopalganj Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat said that the police will soon reveal the truth in this case. He said that many evidences have also been received from the CPO. Whoever is involved in this gang will not be spared, strict action will be taken against them.
