In Patna district, the family members of the accused attacked the police team which had gone to arrest the absconding accused of a robbery and freed him and fled. A sub-inspector was killed in this incident. On receiving the information of this incident, police from many nearby police stations reached the spot and then laid siege and arrested the four accused brothers. The incident took place in Trimuhan village of Ghoswari police station area of Mokama block.
Four brothers who attacked the police were also arrested
Regarding the incident, the police says that Ghoswari police had gone to arrest Neeraj Kumar, the absconding accused in the robbery case. As soon as Neeraj was arrested by the police, his family members launched a deadly attack on the police and freed Neeraj, the accused in the robbery case, from police custody and ran away. The police says that the accused who attacked the police are Vikas Ram, Dheeraj Ram and Dharmendra Ram. They are accused of attacking the police with sticks, iron rods and poles, and then freeing the criminal Neeraj Ram and running away. A sub-inspector Raju Kumar Yadav was injured in this sudden attack.
Police from many nearby police stations took action
Regarding the incident, SHO Ajit Kumar Tinku said that information about the attack on the police force was given to many police stations including Mokama. As soon as the information of the police officer being injured was received, police from many police stations around the district reached the spot. The police force gathered in large numbers surrounded the area and caught the four brothers who had helped the accused escape. The villagers also fully supported the police in this action. All the accused have been caught from Charadih. The arrested criminals were sent to jail after interrogation.
