In Patna, a speeding vehicle crushed a BMP Jawan travelling on a motorcycle on Friday. In this accident, one Jawan died on the spot. The condition of the other Jawan is critical. He has been admitted to the Primary Health Centre for treatment. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police of Fatuha police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter.

It is being told that two BMP-1 soldiers were going on a scooter on Friday on the Bhikhua Patna Bakhtiyarpur four lane of Fatuha police station. Meanwhile, an unknown vehicle coming at high speed crushed both the soldiers. Both the injured soldiers were admitted to the hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared one soldier dead during treatment. The deceased soldier has been identified as Raj Kumar Chhetri, 42-year-old son of Dhanraj Chhetri, a resident of Ramgarh in Jharkhand. The injured soldier has been identified as Deepak Pradhan, who is undergoing treatment at the Primary Health Center.

BSPP Jawan Rajkumar Thapa said that after doing a month long training repressor course, we were returning to our camp in Patna by bike with our BSPP Jawans from Jamalpur on Friday morning. Deepak Pradhan was going on a scooty from Patna Bakhtiyarpur Road. As soon as they reached near Bhikhua of Fatuha, an unknown truck hit their scooty from behind. As soon as the collision took place, the scooty fell on the road. Due to which Rajkumar Chhetri died on the spot. Jawan Deepak Pradhan, who was driving the bike, was seriously injured. He was referred to Patna after first aid. Fatuha police took the body of the deceased Jawan in their custody and sent it to NMC for postmortem. In this case, police station in-charge Rupak Kumar Ambuj said that all of them were returning from Jamalpur to Patna. Near Bhikhua of Patna, an unknown vehicle hit the scooty from behind.
