In Muzaffarpur, criminals have opened fire on the police team that had gone to arrest the criminals in the bank robbery case. The criminals fired about six rounds. The police jeep got damaged in this. Bullet marks can be clearly seen on the police vehicle. Here, the police also retaliated. In this, a criminal got shot in the leg. The police took him into custody and admitted him to the hospital. The police also recovered from him the rifle which he had snatched from the Home Guard jawan during the bank robbery.
Criminals started firing bullets at the police
Giving information about the entire matter, SSP Rakesh Kumar said that the criminals who had come to rob the Punjab National Bank branch two days ago, shot a guard and snatched his rifle. During investigation, the police team came to know that some criminals were hiding in Madhukar Chapra village. When the police reached here to raid, the criminals started firing bullets. After this the police also retaliated. In this, a bullet hit the notorious criminal and he was injured.
The notorious person ran away after snatching the rifle
The police immediately took him into custody and admitted him to the hospital. The injured criminal is undergoing treatment in police custody. He has been identified as notorious Ranjan Patel. During an attempt to rob a bank, he shot the guard and snatched the rifle from him and ran away. When the police went to arrest him and his associates, these people also fired at the police. SSP said that raids are going on in search of other criminals involved in the case. Some people are being interrogated.
