A boy was missing since September
Police say that on September 17, 2023, 20-22 year old youth Ravi Kumar from Ambedkar Nagar of the city had run away from home. In this case, the family members had lodged a missing report in the city police station. After the male skeleton was found, family members were also called to the spot for identification. Seeing the clothes and the needle stuck in his hand during his treatment, the family members have expressed the possibility of the male skeleton being that of Ravi. However, only after DNA test can it be clearly said whether the male skeleton is that of the missing youth or not.
The youth had absconded from home
In this case, Ravi Kumar’s mother Kanchan Kishore says that her son is a graduate student. He had gone to Ranchi to find a camp. On his return he became a victim of a drug gang. After this, he was brought home after getting treatment. Only one dose of medicine was given to him in the evening. He also had a needle inserted in his hand to inject saline. On the night of 17 September 2023, he suddenly ran away from home, which they came to know about in the morning. Even after a lot of searching, when no trace of him was found, a missing report was lodged in the police station.
Questions are being raised regarding needle with male skeleton
Police say that a needle has also been recovered from the male skeleton and the clothes also seem to be similar, but the mother does not believe that the skeleton is that of her son. Now, only by conducting a DNA test, the police can find out whether the male skeleton is that of their son or someone else.
