There has been a major reshuffle in the Bihar Police Department. Six officers of Bihar Administrative Service have been transferred. The Reserve Branch of the Home Department has also issued its notification on Wednesday evening. Police Headquarters has sent Bihar’s famous and tough young IPS officer Chandra Prakash to Bodhgaya. Now he has been made the commander of Bihar Special Armed Police-17, Bodh Gaya. He was earlier the SP of Jamui. He was posted only in the month of September last year. But, he was transferred within about three and a half months. Chandra Prakash is a 2019 batch IPS officer. Before becoming SP of Jamui, he had contributed as Superintendent of Police in Patna Central and before that as Police Officer in Bhojpur district.
