Dozens of women in Arrah have accused the police of barging into their homes and assaulting them. The women say that the police is taking revenge on us for an incident in which we were not involved. The women alleged that the policemen forcibly barged into our house and assaulted them as well as ransacked the things kept in the house. About a dozen women have been injured in this brutal fight, who are undergoing treatment at Ara Sadar Hospital. The incident is of Agarsanda-Behra village of Dhobaha OP area of Sadar block.
real reason
This incident happened on Sunday night. Where the police had reached to raid on the information of liquor in Agarsanda-Behra village. According to the information, the police also arrested some people with liquor, but when the police started arresting the accused, a mob of villagers attacked the police, in which some policemen were slightly injured.
Police returned
After the attack by the villagers, the police returned to the village and after some time the number of police increased. Then the policemen barged into the house and started fighting furiously. Women say that the policemen beat up everyone including women, girls and children.
The women who were injured by the beating of the police told that the people who attacked the police were someone else. We have nothing to do with them. Despite this, male and female police forcefully entered the house by breaking the door and without asking anything, started fighting with whoever was coming in front.
