A bike rider died in a road accident late Tuesday night on NH 31 under Pasraha police station of Khagaria. After this, there is an outcry among the relatives of the deceased. It is being told that the tanker loaded with milk was going towards Naugachia at high speed. Meanwhile, he crushed the bike rider coming from the opposite direction. The deceased has been identified as Mohd. Anwarul, son of Mohammad Abbas Khan, resident of Kailash under Chausa police station of Madhepura district. The police took the body in their custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital Khagaria for post-mortem. Family members told that the deceased youth was going from his home to his in-laws’ house in Fareh village under Chautham police station of Khagaria district.
The driver absconded after the accident
Let us tell you that after the said incident, the tanker driver fled with his vehicle. Taking immediate action, Pasarha police station arrested the driver from near Veerpur bus stand under Jhandapur police station of Bhagalpur district. Who has been kept in police custody. According to eyewitnesses, the tanker driver hit the biker coming from the opposite direction from the front and dragged the bike for some distance. Pasarha President said that an FIR has been registered against the driver and the vehicle in the matter. The relatives of the deceased have been informed.
