Voters said that Jehanabad is an agricultural district. Jehanabad remained affected by poverty and Naxalism for many decades. The picture has changed after 2005. The main issues here are health and education. There are neither better hospitals nor better roads and there is a lack of toilets. There is not adequate irrigation system in the village. Farmers are cultivating faith in God. Representatives are not paying attention towards development.
