The trend of falling temperature is going on in Bihar. Doctors are forbidding children and the elderly to go out. Patna’s temperature has come down to 7.2 degrees. In such a situation, the District Magistrate of Patna has now issued instructions to keep the school closed till January 14 for the children up to 10th standard. Earlier, there was an order to keep schools up to class VIII closed till January 7. As soon as the order is issued by Patna DM, other districts are also in the process of changing their orders. The lowest temperature on Saturday was 4.6 degrees in Gaya. Bhagalpur has recorded 7.5 degrees, Begusarai 7.3 degrees, Banka 5.9 degrees, Nawada 5.5 degrees. The average temperature in the state is around this.
Now orders are being issued slowly
Most of the districts have ordered closure of schools till 10-11. In Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Begusarai, Madhubani, orders have been issued to keep schools closed till January 11, Saharsa, Araria, Katihar and Saran till January 10. On the other hand, in view of the severe cold in Bhojpur, the District Education Officer has issued orders to keep the schools closed till January 14. The rest of the districts are also issuing orders, till now the schools were kept closed till January 8 under the old order in most of the places.
