A youth riding a bike died on the spot in a fierce collision between a tempo and a bike in Govardhana, West Champaran on Wednesday morning. The condition of the other two youths riding the bike is also critical. The three friends had gone out to visit Someshwar Mata on the occasion of Ashtami of Navratri.
Reached Bettiah after being referred, both serious
Both the youths who were seriously injured in the road accident have been admitted to Ramnagar Community Health Center with the help of local people for treatment. The doctors on duty have referred both the youths to Bettiah Government Medical Hospital for better treatment after first aid. Both are being treated here.
The deceased was a resident of Ramnagar police station area
According to eyewitnesses, all the three youths were going on the same bike near Ramnagar-Goverdhana main road, Govardhana, during which there was a head-on collision with the tempo. On the information of the incident, the Goverdhana police station sent the body of the dead youth to the Bagaha Sub-Divisional Hospital for postmortem. Goverdhana police station chief Rakesh Kumar told that the tempo and the bike have been brought to the police station. Who was at fault and how the accident happened is being investigated. The deceased youth was identified as Bambam Sah, 28, son of Bipin Sah, a resident of Nauka Tola village of Mahui panchayat under Ramnagar police station area. Both the injured have been identified as Raja Sah and Manish Sah.
