In Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, manager Sanjay Kumar has been arrested for keeping a foreigner in a hotel without a visa. Kazimohammedpur police station raided the hotel near Chandralok Chowk and arrested him. After interrogation, he was produced in the concerned court. From where he was sent to judicial custody after hearing. SHO Digambar Kumar has confirmed this. Let us tell you that on the statement of Inspector Kaushal Kumar of Kazi Mohammadpur police station, SHO Digambar Kumar had registered an FIR in the matter of keeping the foreigner in the hotel without visa and without informing the police.
Hotel is not even registered with C-form
According to information, a middle-aged man from the United Kingdom had stayed in a city hotel on January 9, 2023, in connection with going to Nepal from Kolkata. During this, the foreign-origin middle-aged man was given a room by the hotel after taking his passport and ID. But the police was not even informed about it. It is being told that this hotel is not even registered with C-Form. Because of this, a foreign citizen cannot be held in it. But the hotel operator violated the rule. A case has been registered in this regard under the Foreigners Act.
According to the information, the middle-aged resident of United Kingdom had entered India on January 5, 2023 itself via Nepal. After that he went to Kolkata from there. On his way back he stayed at a hotel in Muzaffarpur. Then on 10 January 2023, he was returning from India via Nepal’s Raxaul ICP. Where during the investigation he was caught without a valid visa. The accused foreign national did not have a valid visa to India. After this he was handed over to Halaya OP under Raxaul police station.
Along with this, Ajay Kumar Pankaj, Immigration Officer of Bureau of Immigration ICP Raxaul filed a case against the foreign national. During the investigation, the police officer of Halaya OP had reached Qazi Mohammadpur police station. From where he also went to the hotel. Took complete information of the foreign citizen from there. On what basis was the room given? Took information about when he stopped since when.
