Three youths who had come to attend a funeral in Begusarai, Bihar, drowned in the Ganga river while bathing. Two of them were rescued by local divers by taking them out of the river water. While one youth died by drowning. After this incident, there was chaos on the spot. At the same time, as soon as the information of this incident was received, there was panic among the family members. The incident took place at Ayodhya Ganga Ghat of Teghra police station area. The deceased youth has been identified as Abhishek Kumar, son of Dinesh Kumar, resident of Pal village of Dalsinghsarai block of Samastipur district.
Family members said that a person from the village had died. After that, Abhishek also reached Ayodhya Ganga Ghat for cremation along with the people of the village. After the cremation, Abhishek started bathing in the Ganga Ghat with his three friends. During this, all three friends started drowning in the river. Seeing them drowning, the local divers there somehow saved the lives of two youths by taking them out of the Ganga river. While Abhishek Kumar could not be saved. He drowned and died due to going into deep water. At present, the local people informed the Teghra police station about this incident. Teghra police station reached the spot and started investigating the whole matter.
