Due to technical fault, brake binding occurred in Ballia-Sealdah Express near Dhala No. 44 between Bidupur-Chaksikander of Hajipur-Bachhwara railway section passing through Vaishali district. During this time, there was panic among the passengers after seeing smoke coming out from between two coaches of the train.

As soon as information about the incident was received, railway fire department personnel from Hajipur also reached the spot. During this time, on the information of RPF personnel, the mechanical team reached the spot and with the help of RPF, the fault was rectified and the train was dispatched after about an hour.

In this regard, RPF in-charge Inspector Saket Kumar said that as soon as the Ballia-Sealdah Express started from Hajipur station around noon on Friday, it moved from Bidupur station of Hajipur-Bachhwara railway section, RPF personnel Shaheer Ali posted on the train noticed the two sides of the train. It fell on the smoke coming out from the middle of the box. The RPF personnel immediately informed the Bidupur train manager about smoke coming out of the train.

As soon as the information was received, the train manager immediately stopped the train near Dhala No. 44 and informed the Hajipur station manager. As soon as the information was received, mechanical team points man from Hajipur, fire department personnel and RPF team reached the spot. It was told that the mechanical team rectified the fault of the train in about an hour, after which the train was dispatched.
