Dr. Prabhu told that ‘Nitish Pendant’ has been prepared with the joint efforts of Bihar State Disaster Management Authority and IIT Patna. This device delivers alert messages by first speaking, then changing color and vibrating at the same time.
Honorable members told that ‘Nitish Pendant’ is a state-of-the-art device, which is being used in the field of disaster management in Bihar. Its name is NITISH (Novel & Intense Technological Intervention for Saving Human lives). Its Hindi translation is Neet, Sharp and Powerful Jeevan Suraksha Kavach (Nitish).
The ‘Nitish Pendant’ has been inaugurated by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Its objective is to save people’s lives in times of disaster. The device also alerts people in disasters like lightning, flood, extreme heat (loo), and cold wave. This is the first such device in the world which is so effective. Whenever there is information about a disaster, this device immediately alerts the users, so that they can remain alert. It operates on the energy of the body.
