Abusing Indian Administrative Service officer Video And the allegations of profanity on an Indian Police Service officer may have been shelved, but the education department has set a precedent. On behalf of the Education Department, Director (Research and Training) Sajjan R. Has summoned a written reply from Dr. Sonam Kumari, Principal in-charge of District Education and Training Institute located at Tikapatti, Katihar, for abuses and threats. In the showcause notice issued on April 3, there is a direction to reply within three days. ‘Amar Ujala’ had brought this audio of abuse and threats to the fore.

What’s in the showcause…

Director of Research and Training Department, Sajjan R issued a letter demanding clarification from Dr. Sonam Kumari, Principal in-charge of District Institute of Education and Training Tikkapatti. It is written that a related to your institution Audio is going viral, in which a conversation is taking place between you and the data entry operator of the institute, Rajesh Kumar Rai. After listening to this audio the following allegations are being made against you.

  1. Threatening to remove a subordinate from his job on the pretext of becoming his officer.
  2. Using rude language towards his subordinate which is totally opposite to official conduct.
  3. Questioning the manner in which a higher official of the Government of Bihar spoke to his subordinates.
  4. If there was any problem with the subordinate, then the official procedure should have been followed which you did not do.
  5. Viral audio will tarnish the dignity of the institute, directorate and education department.
  6. After listening to the viral audio, it appears that you may not be behaving well even with your subordinates and enrolled students.
  7. You must ensure to provide your explanation to the undersigned within 3 days of receipt of the letter as to why disciplinary action should not be taken against you.
