The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the next 48 hours in West-East Champaran, Shivhar, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Patna, Bhojpur, Nalanda, Jamui, Madhubani, Sitamarhi and Muzaffarpur. On the other hand, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning with light to moderate rainfall in most parts of all the districts of Bihar. Here, talking about the weather of Patna, it is raining intermittently in the capital since morning. Due to this, the problem of water logging has arisen in many areas of the capital. Here, due to the rain, a drop in temperature was recorded in all the districts of the state. Many districts recorded day temperature of 30 to 32 degree Celsius and night temperature of 25 to 28 degree Celsius.

Rain alert in these districts

According to the Bihar Meteorological Service Center, from June 30 to June 2, light to moderate rain in several areas of 38 districts including Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur, Purnia, Jumai, Bhagalpur, West Champaran, Buxar, Kaimur, Aurangabad, Gaya, Sitamarhi, Madhubani. Chances of moderate rain have been expressed.

Highest rainfall in Purnia in last 24 hours

Here, the highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was 213.8 MM in Amour block of Purnia, 203.5 MM in Pirpainti of Bhagalpur, 198 MM in Jamalpur of Munger, 180.5 MM in Banma Ithari of Saharsa, 169 MM in Sonupar of Saran, Phulwarisharif of Patna. 165.5 MM, 155.5 MM in Bhojppur’s Bihiyan, 154.3 MM in Vaishali’s Rajapakad recorded rainfall. Here, agriculture experts say that the farmers of the state will be greatly benefited by the rains. Paddy farmers are benefiting a lot due to the active monsoon.

Weather appeals for caution

The Meteorological Department has appealed to people to avoid taking their livestock and themselves out during inclement weather. Edit your work when the weather is clear. Stay away from sensitive structures during thunderstorms and do not take shelter under trees during thunderstorms. Go to a safe place and sit during hailstorm.
