The people of Bihar may have to wait for two more days for the monsoon. The sky will be cloudy in Bihar from June 19 and the monsoon is expected to enter, while from June 20, there are chances of rain in many districts of the state. For the last several days, the whole of Bihar is in the grip of a fierce heat wave. The common people as well as animals, birds, trees, plants and animals are troubled by the scorching sky. In this season of absence of rain, cracks are appearing in the fields. The deadline for farming is one week left. If in such a situation, the monsoon does not enter Bihar, then the farmers may have to face a lot of difficulties in saving the seeds of their paddy and the farmers may lag behind in farming. Some farmers believe that they have irrigated their fields with water from their boring and have sown paddy seeds, but due to the scorching sun and severe heat wave, the paddy plants have started burning.

According to the weather analysis, the maximum temperature in Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabua, Aurangabad and Arwal districts in the south-west part is likely to be 42 to 45 degree Celsius, whereas the maximum temperature in Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Jehanabad in the south-central part is likely to be 42 to 44 degrees. A red alert for severe heat wave has been issued in Patna, Gaya, Buxar, Bhojpur, Aurangabad, Kaimur, Rohtas, Jehanabad and Arwal. An orange alert for heat wave has been issued in Saran, Siwan, Vaishali, Sheikhupura, Begusarai, Samastipur and Nawada.

Buxar experienced the highest heat

The districts in the state where temperature was recorded above 40 degrees are Patna 43.0, Gaya 44.4, Chapra 43.01, Dehri 45.2, Bhojpur 45.6, Rohtas 44.2, Gopalganj 42.4, Jamui 42.2, Buxar 46.4, Aurangabad 45.3, Vaishali 42.5, Nawada 44.01, Rajgir 44.01, Arwal 45.7, Munger 40.7 and Jiradei 44.3 while Bhagalpur 37.6, Purnia 33.9, Balmiki Nagar 37.2, Muzaffarpur 35.6, Darbhanga 35.2, Supaul 32.6, Forbesganj 30.2, Kishanganj 28.0, Madhubani 36.0, Motihari 37.5, Begusarai recorded 36.7, Banka 37.3, Katihar 33.1, Araria 31.7 and Pusa 36.0 degrees Celsius.

Moderate rainfall is possible in these areas

During the last 24 hours, moderate rainfall with thundershowers occurred in some parts of the north-eastern part of the state. Light rainfall occurred at one or two places in the south-eastern and south-western parts of the state. The rest of the area remained dry. The temperature of the dry parts of the state remained above 40 degrees centigrade at many places. The condition of Bhisham heat wave persisted at many places in the state. The wind direction at the ground level remains southwest and western on average. The weather forecast is as follows. Moderate rainfall with thundershowers may occur in the eastern part of the state during the next 24 hours. On the other hand, Buxar, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Patna, Gaya, Chhapra, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Nalanda, Arwal and Bhojpur are affected by the heat wave. There is no possibility of any significant change in the temperature during the next 48 hours. After that, the temperature may fall by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius. Monsoon will enter Bihar from the north-eastern division after 5 to 6 days, after which the effect of monsoon will gradually start showing in the state.
