The bone-chilling cold in Bihar has made the condition of people miserable. The sun is not shining during the day. The cold westerly wind has increased the noise. The wind is blowing at a speed of six to 10 kilometers per hour. This may increase further. According to the Meteorological Department, the same conditions will remain for the next two to three days. Due to the influence of western disturbance, cold wave like conditions will persist. The chill has increased due to the cold westerly wind.

In the last 24 hours, it was coldest in Rohtas and Banka. The minimum temperature here was recorded at 4.4 degrees Celsius. Aurangabad recorded 6.7 degrees Celsius, Buxar 7.1 degrees, Bhagalpur 7.6 degrees, Nalanda 7.7 degrees, Gaya 7.8 degrees, Sasaram 7.9 degrees Celsius. Whereas the temperature of Sheikhpura was 8.2 degrees, Samastipur 8.3 degrees, Vaishali 8.4 degrees, Madhubani 8.9 degrees, Motihari 9 degrees, Patna 10.6, Purnia and Katihar 10.7 degrees, Gopalganj 11.4 degrees, Muzaffarpur 12.5 degrees, Celsius was recorded.

Patna schools will remain closed till January 6

Here, in view of increasing frost and low temperature, Patna district administration has changed the time table of all government and non-government schools from Thursday. According to the new order, school timings will be operated only after 9 am and before 4:00 pm. This order will be effective in Patna district from January 2 to January 6.

Because of this the school timings have changed now

In this regard, DM of Patna, District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh has issued a letter saying that there is extreme cold and low temperature conditions in Patna, especially in the morning and evening, due to which the health and life of children is likely to be adversely affected. There is a possibility. Therefore, in view of this, under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code, educational activities for all classes in all private and government schools (including free schools and Anganwadi centers) of the district are prohibited before 9:00 am and after 4:00 pm. Later the ban has been imposed. While issuing orders to the school management, he asked them to reschedule the educational activities as per this order.
