There was dense fog in many districts including Patna this morning also. Due to this the passengers had to face a lot of trouble. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of fog from Friday for more than a dozen districts of Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of fog will be seen in the south-western districts of the state. Even after the sun is out during the day, people will feel cold in the morning and at night. If seen during the last 24 hours on Thursday, most parts of the state have received light to moderate rain. If we look at the record of rainfall in Bihar, the highest rainfall of 58.6 mm was recorded in Rafiganj of Aurangabad last Thursday, while Nawada received 21.5 mm of rainfall.
According to Meteorological Center Patna, there is a possibility of light rain in some parts of the state. After rain and hailstorm in Bihar for the last two days, a yellow alert has been issued regarding cold in more than a dozen districts. According to the Meteorological Department, fog has been reported in Katihar, Purnia, Kishanganj, Araria, Madhepura, Supaul, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Shivhar, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Madhubani, Sitamarhi.
These parts have received more rainfall than normal
According to the Meteorological Department, the cyclonic circulation was over Madhya Pradesh. Its influence has diminished. Despite this, till February 15, winter rainfall in Bihar is 28% less than normal, but every district in the south western parts of Bihar has received more rainfall than normal. Talking about temperature, the maximum temperature was between 22 to 24 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was between 12 to 14 degrees Celsius in most of the districts of the state. Farmers cultivate Ravi crop during winter. Temperature of 15 to 25 degrees Celsius is considered good for these crops.
Crops have been damaged by hailstorm
Western Disturbance will reach Western Himalayas on 17th February. Snowfall along with rainfall is expected in the hilly areas, although Bihar is far away from the epicenter of this weather activity. The effect of dense fog is being seen in the north central and north eastern areas of the state. During the last 24 hours, 58.6 mm of rain was received in Rafiganj of Aurangabad, 21.5 in Nawada, 21.4 in Madanpur, 19.8 in Mohania, 19.8 in Jehanabad, 19.8 in Tarhi, 18.8 in Arwal, 18.8 in Bitha of Patna and 19.6 mm in Bhabua. According to Meteorological Center Patna, the minimum temperature in the state has gone four to five degrees above normal, while the maximum temperature has declined. Hailstorm occurred at many places in Rohtas, Arrah and Gaya districts. Crops have been damaged due to hailstorm.
