Despite the entry of monsoons in Bihar, people in many districts are troubled by the humid heat. People in many districts including Patna, Bhojpur, Buxar are facing the havoc of heat wave. There was light rain in Patna on Monday late evening but there was no relief from the humid heat. The weather department has issued a heat wave alert in 10 districts this week. Heat wave alert has been issued in Patna, Bhojpur, Nalanda, Jehanabad, Gaya, Aurangabad, Arwal, Rohtas, Buxar and Kaimur along with the surrounding districts. Rain alert has been issued in many districts of Kosi, Seemanchal, Mithila region.

The temperature of these districts crossed 40 degrees

According to the Meteorological Department, in the last 24 hours, the temperature of Patna, Gaya, Sheikhpura, Gopalganj, Jamui, Buxar, Bhojpur, Vaishali, Aurangabad, Banka, Nawada, Nalanda, Siwan, Arwal and Munger districts was above 40 degrees. Vaishali experienced the highest temperature of 43.5 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature is likely to fall by three to four degrees from June 26.

Rain alert in these districts today

According to the weather department, an alert has been issued for rain and thunderstorm in Araria, Sheikhpura, West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhubani, Purnia, Madhepura, Saharsa, Darbhanga, Khagaria, Samastipur and Munger in Bihar today. According to the weather department, there are chances of light to moderate rain in these districts. There is also a possibility of thunderstorm. There are also chances of wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in these areas. The effect of monsoon will be visible in the whole of Bihar within the next two days. Here, four people have died due to thunderstorm in the last 24 hours.
