Orange alert has been issued for heat wave along with heat wave at some places in the south-western part of Bihar. At the same time, yellow alert has been issued with the possibility of hot days at one or two places in the north-western and north-central parts of the state. The Meteorological Department believes that there is no possibility of any significant change in the maximum temperature during the next 24 hours, after which the maximum temperature is likely to decrease by two to four degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain with thundershowers at some places in Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar districts during the next few hours. In which the wind speed is being said to be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
Buxar and Bhojpur have the highest heat
The districts where maximum temperature was recorded above 40 degrees during the last 24 hours are as follows: Patna 42.8, Gaya 45.3, Chhapra 42.6, Dehri 45.6, Sheikhpura 42.4, Gopalganj 41.5, Jamui 41.6, Buxar 45.9, Bhojpur 45.2, Vaishali 43.5, Aurangabad 45.4, Nawada 43.6, Rajgir 44.6, Jiradei 40.0, Arwal 45.1, Bikramganj 44.5 and Munger 40.6 degrees Celsius. While Bhagalpur 37.2, Purnia 32.4, Muzaffarpur 36.0, Balmiki Nagar 38.6, Darbhanga 35.2, Supaul 32.6, Forbesganj 34.2, Madhubani 34.2, Motihari 36.0, Begusarai 37.2, Banka 38.6, Katihar 32.4, Araria 30.5, Pusa 36.4 and Kishanganj 28.0 degrees Celsius were recorded. The maximum temperature of 45.9 degrees Celsius was recorded in Buxar and Bhojpur of the state.
Kishanganj experienced the least heat
During the last 24 hours, heavy rain was recorded in one or two places of Kishanganj district and light to moderate rain was recorded in Araria district. Weather of remaining districts remained dry. Severe heat wave was recorded in Gaya, Buxar, Bhojpur, Vaishali, Aurangabad, Nawada, Rajgir, Siwan and Arwal while heat wave was recorded in Patna, Saran, Dehri, Motihari, Sheikhpura, Gopalganj, Bikramganj and Munger. Severe heat alert has been issued in these areas today also. Bihar’s highest maximum temperature of 47.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Buxar and lowest minimum temperature of 22.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Kishanganj. According to today’s weather analysis, there has been no change in the northern boundary of the southwest monsoon, but there is a possibility of further rain in some parts of Bihar, especially in North East Bihar, during the next four to five days. During the next 24 hours, severe heat wave is forecast in the south-west part of the state, very hot in the south central part, while hot and humid days are forecast in the north-west and south-east parts. There is also a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thundershowers in the districts of the northern part of the state. There is no possibility of any significant change in the maximum temperature of the state during the next 24 hours. Thereafter, a gradual decrease of two to four degrees Celsius in the maximum temperature is forecast during the next four days.
