A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Rohtas district. A woman has committed suicide by jumping into a pond along with her two children. The incident took place in Nimiya Tikar village under Nauhatta police station of Rohtas district. The deceased have been identified as Sanjay Chauhan’s 26-year-old wife Asha Devi, his 6-year-old son Satyam Kumar and 4-year-old son Aditya Kumar.

Family members say that on Wednesday night Asha Devi and her husband Sanjay Chauhan went to sleep after eating and drinking. After that Sanjay Chauhan’s wife along with her two children committed suicide by jumping into the canal. In the morning, the villagers saw the dead bodies of all three in the canal. After that, the bodies of all three were taken out of the canal and the police was informed about the incident. The police of Nauhatta police station, which reached the spot, has started the process of post-mortem after preparing the Panchnama of the dead bodies. And is investigating the case.

The deceased woman’s husband Sanjay Chauhan fainted after seeing the bodies of his wife and two children. Villagers are saying that the woman committed suicide along with her children due to a family dispute. The deceased’s husband Sanjay Chauhan is currently refraining from saying anything.
